Dan Altmire

Dan Altmire has worked in the insurance and financial planning industry for over 35 years. He has extensive experience designing employer benefit plans and created the acclaimed “Benefit Calibration Tool©” to analyze people’s current risk balanced with their work benefits.

Dan is an accomplished public speaker who has educated thousands of consumers on financial risk and strategies to address possible liabilities.

Dan is passionate about bringing awareness to the need to prepare for the wonders of the "New Longevity" and the risks. He is the author of the soon-to-be-released book, "Aging Gracefully, Planning Thoughtfully: Financial Planning Strategies for Dementia and Long-Term Care".

He knows that it is important to work with other professionals in a team approach to come up with the most holistic solutions that assure the best outcomes for our clients.

A natural leader he has been active within the industry and served as President of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors for the Greater Washington DC Chapter from 2019 through 2021. He is also on the board of directors for the Helping Hands Society, a charitable organization.

Dan lives with his wife Karen in Maryland, near Washington, D.C. They have three adult children and

eight grandchildren.
